THE BUNCH OF "ANTS" AT 4 FLIGHT LAVERTON VICAIRTC.
Yes I did my service as an ANT from 1993 to 1997.
At the time I joined 4 flight Laverton we had a reputation to uphold as we were the number one flight in the annual drill comp.
As one of the new is member at the time I was always picked on for my dress & bearing (THESE BLOODY SD SHOES) I just couldn't get the shinny enough.
I remember the Friday night parades with role calls and drill & knowledge classes.
I also remember when I first got my blue book or what we called a PH299 that was our record or service and identification book. I remember one of the CDTSGT's saying "never leave home with out it"
Oh it was big smacks if you forgot to bring it with you on a parade night.

My first drill parade was an end of year parade with FLT LIEUTENANT Coulson an acting CO at the time.
One other parade annualy was local festivals ,this photo is from Werrima.
